Grandma Mimi and new skills!

Since we were moving soon and the swine flu was such a scare we decided we needed to get Millie out of school before she got any more ickiness! Grandma Mimi flew into town last week to the rescue to help out since I am still at work. Unfortunately Millie caught a goodbye daycare bug that left her sickly and grumpy for the week, but was happy to cuddle and spend time with her Mimi. AND, Mimi taught her a very important new skill - climbing DOWN stairs!!!! Up was always done with ease but going down stairs (which are all around our townhome - and the new house!) were always a little scary. That is no problem now! Millie seemed proud to show me her new skill the day Mimi left - it scared me at first because it was completely unexpected, but she very carefully made her way down! Thanks again Mimi for taking such great care of Millie!
